PACKAGING COORDINATOR – GRASSROOTS COFFEE ROASTERS
Location: Thomasville, GA
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
Grassroots Coffee was started in Thomasville, Georgia in 2009. In the beginning, we roasted coffee beans in the front of our small coffee shop where we served our local community. Over the years, our roasting operation moved to a larger facility to better serve our café partners and customer demand coast-to-coast.Today, with continuous innovation and hard work, Grassroots Coffee is sold in over 400 locations in 11 states. Our fans have grown, but our commitment to making high-quality, small-batch coffee remains the same as it did on day one. Our new packaging coordinator will have the chance to grow with our rapidly growing company, in a fast-paced but warmly engaging environment.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring freshly roasted coffee is packaged appropriately and shipped/delivered to correct destination
- Serves as packaging team member, but also provides supervision to packaging team
- Makes weekly schedule for packaging team
- Communicates weekly supply inventory to admin team
- Organizes and prints daily/weekly shipping labels
- Organizes daily/weekly workflow of customer orders (online, wholesale, drop shipping, etc)
- Supports operations team as needed
- Other projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability/aptitude to work with different packaging equipment/machinery (band sealer, coffee grinder, tape machine, etc)—though training will be provided on specific machinery
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent results
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- General computer knowledge of Microsoft products and Google Drive (preference will be given to those with e-commerce/Shopify experience
- Must haves: ability to thrive in fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking, initiative, energy, attention to detail, follow-through, ability to communicate clearly and influence others
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred candidate with have experience working on assembly line, in a factory or other fast-paced environment requiring teamwork
